Nadia grew up with her Hapū on the Kāik at Ōtākou, running around the marae, surrounded by generations of whānau. As an adult, she lived overseas for some time before returning to live in Tāhuna and Te Ana-au.

Nadia returned to the kāik in 2021, not only to raise her tamariki amongst whānau and hapū, but also to contribute to the mahi at Ōtākou.
