Jeff Harford

Jeff Harford is OAR FM Dunedin Community Liaison and host of the station's weekday OARsome Morning Show. His on-air role has provided many opportunities to feature literary and arts practitioners in conversation, something he relishes as a keen advocate for the creative sector.

Dunedin-born-and bred, Jeff is a long-time contributor to the city’s music scene. A drummer, he started out with high school punks Bored Games and has since occupied the throne for the likes of The Rip and The Broken Heartbreakers. His current band OMMU explores the colourful terrain of improvised psych-rock.

Jeff has also penned music columns and feature articles for the Otago Daily Times and other national publications.
