David is a tech writer, woodcarver, and comics and science fiction enthusiast. He has written for radio, tech startups, academic publications, an apparently evil synthwave brewery, and Dunedin’s literary tourism app dtour.

A former lecturer and teaching fellow at the University of Sydney and the University of Otago, he is currently restoring an 1894 pedal-driven printing press, with plans to (very slowly) recreate the Library of Babel.
