Dr liz breslin is a queer tangata Tiriti writer, editor, performer and facilitator of Polish, Irish and English descent, based in Ōtepoti Dunedin. liz’s full length poem collections are show you’re working out (Dead Bird Books, 2025), in bed with the feminists (DBB, 2021) and Alzheimer’s and a spoon (OUP, 2017).

Collaborative projects include rail:lines, a spoke’n’word tour of the Otago Central Rail Trail with Laura Williamson and Annabel Wilson, HOOT! works from the Ōtepoti Writers Lab Community 2019-2024 with Eliana Gray and The Possibilities Project with Ōtepoti He Puna Auaha Dunedin UNESCO City of Literature.
