Tala Tusi: The Teller is the Tale

In association with the New Zealand Book Council

Pasifika poet and scholar Selina Tusitala Marsh (who performed her poem ‘Unity’ for the Queen in 2016) will deliver the 2016 NZBC lecture. Her talk responds, in part, to the question Witi Ihimaera pitched during his 2015 lecture: What New Zealand will our writers write into existence? With her customary warmth, humour and verve, Selina will discuss the relationship between our stories, ourselves and the fate of our literature.

Please note that space is lmited so admission cannot be guaranteed.
