Award-winning columnist, musician and activist Lizzie Marvelly has spent much of her life in the limelight. Her singing talent was discovered by Frankie Stevens and her famous uncle Sir Howard Morrison, and she was a touring musician by the age of 16. Since then she’s created villainesse.com (an online media project to empower young women), won awards for her column writing and written a book about her experiences called That F Word: Growing up Feminist in Aotearoa (described as “an urgent and passionate battle-cry for all New Zealand women”).
