Haumi ē, Hui ē, Tāiki ē! And it is done!
We have few words left to express the highs and lows of this weekend.
A massive mihi of sincere gratitude to the great many who contributed to the collective energy of our festival. All the authors, chairs, musicians, children, volunteers, poets, event creatives, dogs, venues, artists, our curator Māori, our board, our bookshop, our kaimahi, sponsors and funders.
He kawhe māu?!
He kawhe māu? Would you like a coffee? Ae, tēnā koa – yes, please! ☕️ Coffee and a good book on a long and lazy Sunday morning.... there’s nothing better 😌
Our friends at Common Ground Espresso are generously keeping our authors, volunteers, board members and events team caffeinated during the festival.
Nau mai, haere mai New World Gardens!
New World Gardens will be keeping our authors, chairs, volunteers and event staff fuelled with delicious snacks and tasty treats throughout the weekend.
