Marcelle has worked as a counsellor in a high school setting and in private practice for the past ten years, after leaving teaching to study for a Master’s in Counselling. She has a particular interest in issues affecting women and how mindfulness practices, and self-compassion are a great tool for all people looking to live better lives with less anxiety and greater wellbeing.
She is particularly interested in parenting skills and parental self-awareness as well as the impact of pornography. Marcelle has spoken at national and international conferences and written publications on the impact of pornography on young people and parenting without anxiety. Marcelle is partway through her Doctorate, looking at adolescent female wellbeing and the changing nature of pornography.
