Victor Rodger

Victor's first play Sons was produced in 1995 during his first year studying at Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School.  This year Victoria University Press printed his highly successful play Black Faggot along with two other acclaimed works: At the Wake and Club Paradiso.  Last year he was the first Samoan Robert Burns Fellow at the University of Otago; this year he is the first Samoan Writer in Residence at Victoria University of Wellington.
