Victor Billot

Victor Billot has always been 10 years too early and 20 years too late. Should he run faster to catch up with the future or sit down and wait for the past to arrive? His most successful poem has been a list of subgroups of contemporary New Zealand class structure and last year he won $1000 in an Australian poetry competition, although he is not widely honoured in his own land.
