Chris Price

Chris Price edited Landfall from 1993 to 2000. Since then she has published three poetry books: Husk (Best First Book, NZ Book Awards 2002), The Blind Singer (2009) and last year’s Beside Herself (2016), ‘a rich collection full of pleasures and surprises’ (Landfall 232). The uncategorisable Brief Lives was shortlisted in the Biography category of the 2006 NZ Book Awards, and Chris has participated in the science-literature collaboration Are Angels OK? (2006) and the 2012 German-NZ poetry exchange Transit of Venus / Venustransit (2016). She convenes the MA Workshop in poetry and creative non-fiction at the International Institute of Modern Letters.
