Louise Wallace is the author of the novel, Ash, which has editions forthcoming in Australia, North America and the United Kingdom. She has also published four previous collections of poetry with Te Herenga Waka University Press and was the editor of Ōrongohau | Best New Zealand Poems 2022.

She is the founder and editor of Starling, an online journal showcasing the work of young writers from Aotearoa, and she is a former Robert Burns fellow.
