Planning Your Visit

As well as its rich literary heritage, Dunedin is known for its vibrant student life, imposing architecture and wealth of wildlife. The city’s variety of boutiques, malls and bookshops, and its range of cafes, bars and restaurants, make it the ideal weekend getaway for book club groups.

Dunedin Airport is served by regular flights from Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, and the city is within easy driving distance of Invercargill, Queenstown, Wanaka, Oamaru, Timaru and Christchurch.
