Oh Boy

Picture
Stuart Lipshaw, author of Oh Boy: A Storybook of Epic NZ Men, has a message for boys: “Follow your passions. Do what makes you happy. Work hard. Be kind. Give it everything you’ve got. Don’t give up. And remember that anything is possible.” His book gathers together inspiring stories about 50 great NZ men across a range of careers. Lipshaw will join one of the book’s illustrators, Toby Morris, and one of its epic NZ men, Sam Johnson (founder of the Student Volunteer Army that helped clean up after Christchurch’s earthquakes and 2012 Young New Zealander of the Year), to talk with Jack Tame about boydom, chasing your dreams, and finding the right path to fit your character. Best suited to ages 7+.
Please note that space is limited so admission cannot be guaranteed.
