Aaron Hawkins

Aaron Hawkins spent more than a decade on campus, volunteering and working at the Otago University Students’ Association, Critic – Te Arohi and Radio One 91FM from 2002 to 2013. He is an alumnus of the ever-dubious Capping Show, the now defunct Mothra Film Festival, and an altogether-too-long stint as the host of a breakfast radio show. Somewhere along the way he also managed to graduate. He chairs the Dunedin Fringe Arts Trust – producers of the Fringe Festival, NZ Young Writers Festival and the Amped Music Project. By day (mostly) he’s an elected member of the Dunedin City Council.
