A lover of birds, fish and social justice, Michaela Keeble is a writer of fiction, poetry and children’s stories. Widely published in New Zealand, Australian and US Journals and anthologies, Michaela’s first full-length poetry collection of, Surrender, (Taraheke | BushLawyer ) was published in 2022, and was longlisted for the Award for Poetry in the National Book Awards. 

Michaela wrote Paku Manu Ariki Whakatakapōkai together with her son, Kerehi Grace.
